在新加坡政府宣布放宽新冠病毒防疫措施后，新加坡海事及港口管理局 (MPA) 调整了新冠疫情期间抵达新加坡船舶的要求。新版 2022 年 PMC 05 号港口海事通函取代了旧版 2022 年 PMC 04 号通函，于 2022 年 3 月 28 日生效。
新的通函从以下方面提供指导：
- 港口非接触式作业
- 安全船岸互动的程序和管理
- 船员佩戴口罩的指导
