News: Safety Considerations for Ship Operators Related to Risk‐Based Stowage of Dangerous Goods on Containerships

27 November 2019

The Cargo Incident Notification System (CINS) has published a new safety guidance document for the stowage of dangerous goods on containerships, which is considered to be a first stage in a collective industry approach on this
growing concern, which is designed to enhance safety on board container ships, recognising the significant complexities involved in achieving effective and compliant stowage of containers.
Along with other International Group Clubs, we are pleased to have contributed to this publication as an Advisory Member of CINS, which aims to address commonplace risks and failures to improve safety in the industry.

Members are recommended to refer to the considerations report, available on the right, for further details.
