Standard Club is shortlisted for the Crew Connect Global’s Welfare and Corporate Social Responsibility Award!
Our Loss Prevention team's Seafarer Wellbeing poster campaign has been shortlisted for Crew Connect Global’s Welfare and Corporate Social Responsibility Award!
The award “recognises a leading corporate social responsibility (CSR) policy or initiative delivered in the past year, with a measurable impact on crews or wider communities.”
Created with the purpose of gracing the walls of members’ ships, our posters focus on four topics considered to have the biggest impact on seafarer wellbeing, in the current times – healthy eating, fitness, mental wellbeing and socialisation. Building on the specific tips and prompts narrated on the posters, seafarers can access valuable advice on how they can look after the specific areas of their wellbeing by scanning the QR code on each poster.
We are grateful that our efforts are being acknowledged and it is heartening to see the great work done by fellow nominees in this category. Standard Club will continue to do more for seafarers and together we can make the maritime industry a safer and great place to work for everyone.
