Standard Club is pleased to announce that we are now members of the Maritime Anti-Corruption Network.
The Maritime Anti-Corruption Network (MACN) is a global business network of more than 100 businesses working towards the vision of a maritime industry free of corruption that enables fair trade to the benefit of society at large.
More than 28,000 incidents have been reported to MACN since its establishment in 2011, highlighting the scale of the challenge the maritime industry faces. Reporting is anonymous and non-attributable. Incident reports are important for MACN as well as for the industry to understand and manage risks of corruption in ports globally. Data serves as a powerful lever when engaging with governments and other stakeholders. Incident reports therefore support MACN’s mission of promoting integrity in ports.
