News: Risk-based stowage of dangerous goods on containerships

The Cargo Incident Notification System (CINS) organisation has produced new industry safety guidance for the stowage of dangerous goods on board containerships. These new safety focussed considerations complement existing requirements under SOLAS and IMDG as well as measures already developed and implemented by ship operators. 

The guidance is the culmination of efforts from various stakeholders including shipping lines, classification societies and insurance organisations over a period during 2018-19.
