Club correspondent Cariconsult International Limited have reported that creditors of the Venezuelan state oil company, PDVSA, are seeking attachments in the former Netherlands Antilles of cargoes belonging or consigned to PDVSA on vessels arriving in Curacao waters. Accordingly this could have a severe disruptive effect on trading, in particular for tanker operators.
