The Department of the Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) is updating and clarifying the scope of medical devices that are not authorised for exportation or re-exportation to Iran under the US sanctions regime.
The Department of the Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) is updating and clarifying the scope of medical devices that are not authorised for exportation or re-exportation to Iran under the US sanctions regime, pursuant to the General License at 31 C.F.R. Section 560.530(a)(3)(i).
Exports or re-exports to military, intelligence, law enforcement purchasers or importers, or most blocked entities, remain unauthorised.
