The Antigua and Barbuda Department of Marine Services and Merchant Shipping (ADOMS) has now advised that in relation to the issuance of Nairobi Convention certificates, as an interim measure, ADOMS will respect such certificates issued to A&B flagged ships by another state party prior to 20 February 2015, and this arrangement will continue until 20 February 2016.

The club refers to its recent circular dated 28 January 2015, as well as its most recent web alert, dated 13 February 2015, on the Nairobi International Convention on the Removal of Wrecks ('the Nairobi Convention') which comes into force on 14 April 2015. 
 
Antigua and Barbuda (A&B)
 
The Antigua and Barbuda Department of Marine Services and Merchant Shipping (ADOMS) has now advised that in relation to the issuance of Nairobi Convention certificates, as an interim measure, ADOMS will respect such certificates issued to A&B flagged ships by another state party prior to 20 February 2015, and this arrangement will continue until 20 February 2016.
 
ADOMS have also now provided their contact details in relation to applying for Nairobi Convention certificates. These contact details can be found in the attached document, including ADOMS' postal and email addresses for such applications.
 
The club will continue to keep members informed of developments related to the Nairobi Convention through the issuance of regular publications, all of which can be found on the club’s website here.
