Our local correspondents have advised that, as yet, no measures have been implemented by the local authorities in relation to vessels calling to the DRC. However, given the serious and fluid nature of this emergency we would advise our members, who are calling to the DRC and neighbouring countries, to monitor any updates posted on the WHO’s website. You can find further guidance on best practice in our knowledge centre and an update (in the attachment on the right) received from Marine Advisory Medical Service (MAMS), our PEME scheme administrator.
