Originally published in June 1994, the document serves as a comprehensive checklist to be used by shipowners, crew and other key personnel to ensure that vessels are safe, well-maintained and comply with regulations.
The document contains checklists for:
- routine maintenance
- PSC inspections
- Safety Management System
- International Ship and Port Facility Security
- Maritime Labour Convention 2006
ClassNK’s Director of Survey Operations Division, Yoshinori Kozeki, said:
