The Standard Club's event at LISW is reported in the Evening Standard
The Standard Club hosted a breakfast debate at London International Shipping Week, entitled 'London - the global shipping service centre in 2050?'. Inga Beale, chief executive of Lloyd’s of London, led the case for London staying on top, along with Martin Stopford, non-Executive President at Clarkson Research Services. The opposition was argued by Esben Poulsson, president of the Singapore Shipping Association and Sabrina Chao, Chairman of Wah Kwong Maritime Transport Holdings Ltd.
