Maritime security

Sam Kendall-Marsden

Maritime security is often equated with piracy given its high-profile in recent years. The focus has largely bn on the situation off Somalia, but West Africa and Southeast Asia have also been hotspots.

However, maritime security is a broader theme that encompasses a range of threats to the safety of shipping. We provide more than just comprehensive cover for third-party liabilities arising out of such threats - we provide support and the benefit of our considerable experience and expertise to inform our members of risks faced, and we support them at times of crisis.
